Our Digital Static Charge Meter model SCM – 02 is a lightweight, precision electrostatic charge meter that features stabilized sensor for accurate measurement. The maximum measurement range is from 0 to 10 KV at meter to object distance of one inch. A 2-1/2-Digit LCD provides 100-Volt resolution with polarity indication.
Measuring Procedure :
Put the ON – OFF switch to ON Position. First press the PRESS TO READ switch on the meter, bring the instruments towards the object at one inches now displays reading from the ZERO to +/-10.0 KV, for example.
Reading x Distance = Static Voltage
2.2 KV 1 Inches 2.2 KV
8.5 KV 1 Inches 8.5 KV
If the value is more (i.e., display shows > 10.0 KV), Release the PRESS TO READ switch.
Maintenance : This Digital Static Charge Meter is designed to the completely maintenance free. There are no parts inside which can be replaced by the user himself. Incase of malfunction or re-calibration contact manufacture
