Solar Lanterns are portable lighting devices that are suited for the needs of indoor & outdoor lighting, providing a 360° range of lighting. This consists of compact fluorescent lamp (CFL) that provides illumination that is equivalent to a 40-Watt bulb. It has a maintenance free battery that is charged by the Solar P V module. This battery powers a high efficiency inverter for lighting purposes. The lantern represents a fine blend of utility with a truly traditional Indian design, designed fro easy portability.

• Aesthetic design with light and compact structure. Housing designed and molded with robust ABS plastic material, and a lack of metallic parts are provided to avoid corrosion.
• High performance providing good light with minimal energy consumption. Provides light equivalent to 40w ordinary bulb. The four pin Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) used in this lantern is 80% more efficient and has a life 8 times longer than ordinary lamps.
• An unique battery charging profile protects the battery from over-charging and also provides enhanced battery efficiency & life.
• An inverter circuit with 80% efficiency ensures longer life and high performance.
• Deepa Solar lantern has the capacity to store energy for over three fully operational days. Therefore, even ad climatic conditions cannot reduce performance.
