Electrical Fault Detector (Impedance Meter-Motor Checker) When your AC / DC machine fails to work all you need is Fault Detector. This meter is helpful for detecting the shorting in winding of Electric Motor, Generator and Transformer. It can detect the partial Shorting, Unbalancing of current in poly phase winding without opening the motor. Application It is helpful in detecting the winding faults (comparing AC resistance) in poly phase machines in which the windings are identical and in same types of motor, generator and transformer.
